A fitting design for the bold word, Noise. Over the course of one week, spray paint was layered color by color to create this inspired designed type.
A major challenge with the color was the highlights and shadow on the letter forms. They were difficult to make, but precise spray placement led to smooth, yet sharp lines to create the visual distinction between planes. After completing the type fill, the black outline was then added for extra contrast and to reinforce the sharpness.
